Editorial Review
USDA organic. For seven generations, Coombs Family Farms has produced 100% pure, great tasting maple syrup by taking special care of our ancient maple trees. My grandfather said "There are no shortcuts to creating pure maple syrup. Do right by the forest and it will do right by you." Today, we continue this approach, a proudly support other small maple farmers who share our commitment to quality, environmental stewardship, and sustainable forestry. The Coombs Commitment: We make 100% pure maple syrup with no artificial flavors, perservatives or dyes; We never over-tap trees; We support the use of health spouts for tree friendly tapping; We never use pesticides in our tree farm; Our grading standards are never compromised for short-term gain. Nurturing the forest for 7 generations. Certified Organic by QAI. Products of USA and Canada.

Delicious syrup!
5 / 5.0
This is delicious syrup. I bought this when it was on sale for about $13. Great price! I never bought grade B syrup before this one, but it is delicious and perfect for pancakes and french toast. The flavor is not too heavy.
End GM Forests!
5 / 5.0
Unlike most "Factory Farmed" maple forests, the forests that Coombs Family Farms use are 100% natural forests. I don't mind paying extra knowing that these trees weren't injected with any growth hormones, grown in high-density sapling nurseries or treated with any petro-chemicals, unlike most Vermont "Forests," where regular, non-organic maple syrup comes from.
Orangic and great!
5 / 5.0
Never done the grade B before, but I had heard such great things. They were right its a richer taste and goes great with my rice oatmeal.
New England Syrup
5 / 5.0
They buy syrup mostly from New England family run businesses. The quality is very good and you can't beat the price. A+
5 Stars for Taste
5 / 5.0
And 1 for pricing. Like every other food industry, maple syrup prices are way overinflated. Really, what's the difference between Coombs and Trader Joe's Grade B - when you're saving $10?? I use maple syrup all the time. I don't use any other sweetener. Refined sugar is poison to my nervous system and I'm not into evaporated cane juice - or honey, an animal product, too heavy to digest. How about a real sale, huh? I feel solidarity with the growers but jeeez - we're simply forced to eat less.
